victims compensation fund
I am appalled at the attitude of the victims families. The help they are
receiving from taxpayers is not a right but compensation for their
suffering. It is a gift that I believe at this point amounts to welfare.
These people are able to work and be productive citizens in our society.
Other victims of this nature do not and have not received compensation.
Some families will not receive a thing. Why are they not putting energy
in that direction. These family members should be grateful, instead what
we are seeing amounts to greed. I feel sorry for these people and our
government for wanting to help out. Maybe next time we won't rush to
help out people in this kind of situation. I am afraid this sets a
precedent.
