Allow Gay partners access to funds
The interim rules for the fund are very well thought
out and provide a fair set of guidelines that apply to
nearly all victims. However, I respectfully request
that gay and lesbian partners be allowed access to
said funds. This is not a question of religion. The
fact is that gay couples support a household exactly
as straight couples do. Specific recognition of their
financial commitment to each other isn't
groundbreaking, immoral, or against the word of God.
It's fair. And it makes sense. Allow all surving gay
partners access to the Fund!
