Compensation for Illegal Aliens

Dear Mr. President:
I am a patriotic American who is devoted to this country and united with you in the war on terrorism. I thank you for the fine way in which you have handled this terrible occurance and I pray that God's grace would continue to be upon you. I am writing to you because I recently heard of a motion in Congress to give compensation to the families of illegal aliens whose relatives died in our national tragedy on 9-11. I consider myself a compassionate American and have given greatly to those organizations which have raised money for the victim's families. However, that being said, I think it is irresponsible and wrong of our country to aid those illegal aliens and their families. They have broken the law! They have the opportunity to enter our country by legal measures as any other immigrant. They, instead, seek to enter by illegal means and lately are given many of the priviledges of citizens. What then is the purpose of citizenship? In California, the governor has recently allowed illegals to get resident rates at our state colleges and universities! This is absurd, as they are law breakers! If we are not careful as a country to enforce strict immigration laws, disallow priviledges shown to illegals and maintain congressional rights for citizens only, we will soon be torn apart as a country. We cannot survive long without a dedicated and united citizenship and I see this incorporation of illegals are tearing at the very foundation of our Constitution. Thank you, sir, for hearing my few comments and being aware of this issue. I thank you for your time and may God bless America!

Sincerely,

Individual Comment
