Compensation
The criticism is going to continue as long as the families of the victims
think they "deserve" this money. This money is because we want to help
families in need. My husband was killed by a drunk behind the wheel of a
car. There are millions of widows and widowers like myself that know EXACTLY
how hard it is to on and to raise our children in these circumstances. I
contributed what I could because I wanted to help other families in their
time of need. I did not give this money to set up all these peoples
finances for life! Furthermore, I do not agree that my taxes should take
care of these people for life. The difference between their loss and my
loss is what? The woman complaining about how little she will get because
she has 1.4 million in insurance should thank her lucky stars she has that
and not take money from the fund set up for the people that are in need of
help.
They should be ASHAMED!
