COMPENSATION
There is no dollar amount that can compensate for a life. There is no one qualified to try and determine such an amount. What we did for the 9/11 victims was to try to show them our support in this unprecedented event. The victims should be appreciative of these efforts and realize it is not the taxpayers responsibilty to make them or their children wealthy while we have to continue to work for a living.
