I am completely disheartened by the Government program to reimburse
survivors of the September ll attack.
I live on a small Social Security pension and although I cannot afford to
give any money to anyone, I did feel it necessary to give a donation to the
survivors. Apparently the enormous amounts of money collectd, much of it
from people like me with very little income, was not enough to satisfy these
greedy people. The ones with the most money are the loudest in their
complaints. No other victims of tragic loss have ever been compensated by
the Government and the poor people who lost jobs and the people of other
tragedies have been forgotten.
It merely goes to prove the old saying that "them that has gets."
