Victims Families

First let me say that I think Sept. 11th was a despicable act of terror by Saudis, whom we are still "friends" with. I support the war on terror completely, and the taxes that need to go to cover it. That said, the victims' compensation fund is a travesty!

Other people in public service are killed all the time. Are we going to give $1.5 million the the families of all the servicemen who are killed fighting this war? No! And the way these families are trying to "get rich" at the expense of other people is ridiculous. Human nature is disgustingly selfish, and the government better realize that we need to spend our tax dollars on fighting terror, not paying off the victims.

There will be more terrorists attacks. Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that. What are we going to do? Go broke paying of victims' families, or spend our limited resources on winning the fight. I am disgusted with some of the families, and with our response to only certain innocent victims. Makes good press doesn't it?

Finally, I add that we kill over 1 million unborn babies a year and the government thinks that is okay. Why makes the 3000 of Sept. 11th more valuable than the millions of babies? We need to get perspective back into public life!
