Comment on Interim Regulations for 9/11
Victim Compensation

I am in full support of this regulation going forward as is. This victim compensation is an attachment to the AIR TRANSPORTATION SAFETY AND SYSTEM STABILIZATION ACT."
There is no indication that the action of terrorists were directly related to lax security or breech of any law or regulation. This is a generous perk to families who have suffered from their loved one being a victim of a tragic event. People are tragically killed every day whether it be in the workplace, public transportation or act of war or terrorism. That's life and the result of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's wonderful that some people had the resources to purchase abundant life insurance, others did not have discretionary dollars to do so. This should be about need and not greet.
