Question

I do not know if you can help me, I worked on 39th and Madison (NYC) on September 11, 2002, on the day of the attack I spent 7 hours on my feet getting out of the City, which exacerbated a current foot condition I was dealing with, in turn I was put on disability, while fighting with my insurance company to get the appropriate tests to I could be probably treated, finally it is discovered I have a large stress fracture (explains why I can't walk for long periods) at the same time my employer would make no accommodations for me to return (I offered to rent a wheel chair, and was told no), I have now been terminated from my job, and the situation is not good - however, a friend suggested that I contact this fund, because the events of 9/11 did exacerbate my situation - I would appreciate any guidance you can provide or how I should proceed. Thank you.
