Compensation greed
I think the compensation of victims by taxpayers was a mistake from
the beginning, but the greed that is being shown today by some
victims is atrocious.
Many people are hurt and suffer every day for no fault of their own.
The taxpayer is not expected to compensate them, not should they.
I think help for the victims of this attack should have been handled
under existing law and precedent, with no special treatment.
I am especially opposed to the idea that I, as a middle class
taxpayer, should be expected to subsidize the lives of people who
made far more than I do, and that the rich are being subsidized to a
greater extent than the poor.
