Compensation
I am appalled by what I read about this whole mess. The group which will be advantaged the most are the lawyers, as usual, who are lining up to the trough again. Mr. Zwick, you need to ignore the baloney they offer. While it is disgusting that so many lost their loved ones, it is just not the responsibility of any other person, or the government (except perhaps the CIA) to compensate anyone for their losses. Had these people been killed in automobile accidents, their life insurance or other private insurances would be all that would be received by their survivors. Perhaps. The real kicker was the woman who was disgusted by the 1.5 million she was told she would receive, as it was a laughable amount to her. This kind of reaction sickens me. I gave a whopping amount to the American Red Cross, and am now kind of sorry that I did so, as I suspect it was as ill-used as this fund may very well wind up being.
