Perhaps someone in Congress, or even Ken Feinberg's office, should do something to educate the public about what the Victims Comp program is all about. Most people in this country are very stupid. Most of the angry people who have submitted comments to this forum are very stupid or, at the very least, very uninformed. The Victims Comp program was established to prevent all the airlines from going bankrupt, something which would have been far more costly to everyone living in this country than the Victims Comp program. This is a nation of laws. The laws were changed after 911 so that the airlines wouldn't go out of business. In exchange for diminishing a victim's right to seek legal remedies, Congress established the Victims Comp fund. What is wrong with that? What the hell does this have to do with Oklahoma City? Congress didn't take away people's rights in that case. Go sue Timothy McVeigh. I'll bet you'll win!
