Non-economic Compensation: PARENTS' PAIN & SUFFERING

Our son worked for             on the             Floor on September 11, 2001. We as his parents will live with this terrible nightmare the rest of our lives. The pain & suffering that we feel will live with us forever - he can never be replaced. A Parents' Pain & Suffering should be part of the non-economic fund's regulation. Our Pain & Suffering should be completely separate and apart from the compensation that his spouse and children are going to receive. It should not be included as one package in the award to the wife & children, even if it is written clearly as such. This will cause MUCH FRICTION in surviving families - DO NOT DO THIS!!! A way should be found to include parents as "beneficiaries" under the Fund without at the same time reducing the amounts otherwise payable to the surviving spouse and children.
