Serbia: ICITAP Kicks Off One-Week Instructor Development Train-the-Trainer Course

On February 27, ICITAP-Serbia began a one-week Instructor Development Train-the-Trainer Course (IDC T-3), focusing on Ministry of Interior (MOI) police instructors from the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies (UCIPS), the Basic Police Training Center, and the Department for Professional Development and Training. The course is being held from February 27 to March 3 in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia. The instructors are two visiting ICITAP-Ukraine Advisors. Topics will include the science of adult learning (Maslow, Kolb, Klein, Dweck, Bosner), experiential learning, instructional system design: ADDIE, Kirkpatrick and 4 levels of evaluation, as well as a practical exercise. Opening remarks for the program were delivered by ICITAP-Serbia’s Law Enforcement Assistance Attaché and the Rector of UCIPS. In Serbia, ICITAP works with the support of the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
