Panama: ICITAP Delivers Training on Crime Scene Photography

On August 20, ICITAP delivered training with 20 participants from the Panama Institute of Legal Medicine and Sciences (IMELCF) Criminalistics team on basic and intermediate crime scene photography. ICITAP-Central America’s Regional Mission Advisor delivered this training to strengthen participants’ skills in successfully photographing a crime scene using digital cameras, including technical specifications and documenting in adverse lighting conditions. In addition to this ICITAP-delivered training, the recent donation of crime scene kits and cameras by the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs will bolster investigations and evidence collection in Panama.
