Serbia: ICITAP Helps Advance Women in Leadership in Partnership with Police University
On August 25, ICITAP-Serbia hosted a Women in Leadership Positions Webinar at the Serbian Police University for 40 current and future leaders within the Serbian Ministry of Interior and the Police University, spearheaded by ICITAP-Serbia’s Institutional Development Coordinator. Presentations for this highly interactive event – in which all attendees opted to attend in-person – were delivered by the U.S. Embassy Belgrade Assistant Regional Security Officer, the U.S. Embassy Belgrade Air Attaché, and a Special Agent of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (remotely from the U.S.). Thought-provoking discussions revolved around the unique challenges, successes, failures, and responsibilities women leaders often face as they ascend into leadership positions. The feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Many attendees expressed that the personal stories and experiences shared by the presenters will be a source of inspiration as they continue their leadership journey.
