Algeria: ICITAP Delivers Interview and Interrogations Training

On November 21, ICITAP completed a five-day hands-on Intermediate-Level Counterterrorism Interview and Interrogations Course at the Gendarmerie graduate school in Zeralda. Topics covered included Context Management, Motivational and Cognitive Interviewing, Interpersonal Behavior Wheels, Cylinder Model/Sensemaking, Questioning Strategies, Credibility Assessment, Strategic Use of Evidence and practical exercises. Both courses encouraged collaboration and information sharing across agencies and regional partners. ICITAP delivered this activity with the support of and in partnership with the State Department’s Bureau of Counterterrorism (CT).
