Bosnia-Herzegovina: ICITAP Completes Two Critical Training Events at Academy in Sarajevo

On December 13, ICITAP concluded two one-week iterations of Interviewing and Interrogation training at the FBiH Police Academy in Sarajevo. These courses were attended by 31 police investigators from MoI Republka Srpska, Canton Tuzla, Canton Sarajevo, Canton 10 and Zenica-Doboj Canton.  Major topics presented were Learning Interpersonal Communication Skills, Perception, Eight Types of Non-Verbal Cues, Interview Preparations, Reading Micro Expressions, Rapport Building, Cognitive Interviewing Techniques, Detecting Deception, and Obtaining the Truth. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, ICITAP delivered this training with the support of and in coordination with the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics an law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
