Mali: ICITAP Facilitates Greater Responsiveness with the National Police to Counter Threats

From September 3 to September 5, ICITAP traveled to two Malian towns with members of the Mali National Police (NP) to conduct interviews with incumbent personnel in support of the ICITAP Job Task Analysis (JTA) in coordination with the State Department. The JTA will be used to support the revision of training curricula and of standards for career management. With the implementation of a complete JTA report, the National Police will become more efficient and responsive, which is extremely critical in a country that is suffering from the impact of large ungoverned spaces and periodic terrorist attacks.
