On June 25, ICITAP-Montenegro and Montenegro’s Police Academy signed an agreement on the donation of computer equipment. Special emphasis was placed on systematized training on organized crime and transnational organized crime, joint investigation teams, human trafficking and similar training. In addition, further cooperation between the Academy and the U.S. Embassy through the ICITAP mission has been agreed. The Academy Director shared his optimism and vision of the facility expanding its mandate to include all law enforcement and security-related agencies and personnel. ICITAP-Montenegro’s Attaché expressed interest in continued co-operation in training in the fight against organized crime, as well as in expanding co-operation in access to online training for Montenegrin police.
