On June 19, ICITAP-Serbia concluded a five-day specialized integrity undercover course for Serbian Internal Affairs agents tasked with conducting integrity testing of MOI personnel in their ongoing efforts to combat police corruption maintain accountability. The training, initially scheduled for April 2020, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The training was delivered through classroom presentations, multiple practical exercises, and case studies. The program was taught by the Ministry of Interior’s undercover unit and a forensic psychologist/polygraph examiner from the National Criminal Forensic Center. Topics covered include communication skills – verbal, non-verbal, and stress-reducing techniques. In Serbia, this training was delivered with the support of and in coordination with the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
