United States v. Felix Granowski, et al.

Description:

In this odometer fraud case, Felix Granowski and others were charged with conspiracy based on an odometer fraud scheme, in which they purchased cars from private individuals and then “rolled back” the odometers on those vehicles, so that the vehicle appeared to have been driven fewer miles than it actually had. As a result, the defendants obtained a higher price at auction for the car than they would have received if the true mileage were disclosed, by an average of more than $5,000.
