HOPE Initiative – International Drug Overdose Awareness Day

On Aug. 31st, 2017, Acting U.S. Attorney James Tierney presented a brief overview of the HOPE Initiative to attendees of the International Overdose Awareness Day event, sponsored by the Bernalillo County Community Health Council and Commissioner Maggie Hart Stebbins. The event, which was held at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, featured speakers and guest lecturers on the topics of drug overdose and prevention as it pertains to Bernalillo County.
