HOPE Initiative– Key Community Stakeholder Meeting

On March 7, 2017, the U.S. Attorney’s Office invited key community stakeholders to the table to discuss the future of the HOPE Initiative, and how best to move forward in the community. Some of those in attendance were from Bernalillo County, UNM Health Sciences Center, The Bernalillo County Opioid Accountability Initiative, DEA, New Mexico Department of Health, the Office of the Medical Investigator, Albuquerque Public Schools Crossroads program, and the Boys and Girls Club of Central New Mexico. The key community stakeholders all have a part in addressing the epidemic rates of heroin and opioid drug use in New Mexico.
