Indian Country Law Enforcement Coordination and Outreach – Jemez Pueblo

April 22, 2016

Supervisory Assistant U.S. Attorney Kyle Nayback and Assistant U.S. Attorney/Tribal Liaison David Adams presented a training program for the Jemez Pueblo Tribal Police Department.  The training was scheduled in response to discussions between the Tribal Liaison and the Chief of Police on improving the law enforcement response to violent crimes in Jemez Pueblo.  The entire Police Department participated in the training, which was also attended by Pueblo Governor David Yepa, and the training serves as another step towards strengthening the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s relationships with tribal communities and the law enforcement response to violent crime occurring in New Mexico’s Indian Country.
