Indian Country Law Enforcement Coordination and Outreach – Laguna Pueblo

Supervisory AUSA Kyle Nayback and Assistant U.S. Attorney/Tribal Liaison David Adams met with Laguna Pueblo officials including the Governor, General Counsel and Chief of Police, to discuss jurisdictional issues, crimes against tribal members, and crimes on tribal lands and casino property.  Cibola County Sherriff Tony Mace participated in part of the meeting during which the participants discussed how to alleviate issues arising out of the issuance of civil traffic violations by tribal police officers to non-Indians driving through the reservation.
