Law Enforcement Coordination – Worst of Worst Anti-Violence Initiative Presentation in San Juan County

Smart on Crime AUSA Henderson and ADA David Cowen of the 11^th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Division I, delivered a presentation on the federal “worst of the worst” anti-violence initiative on March 18, 2016, at the District Attorney’s Office in Farmington.  Agents from ATF, DEA, and FBI assisted in the presentation.  The presentation was attended by officers from the Farmington Police Department, Bloomfield Police Department, San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, New Mexico State Police and HIDTA Region II Drug Task Force.  Under the “worst of the worst” initiative, AUSAs work with District Attorneys and state, local and tribal law enforcement officers to target criminals who commit a disproportionate amount of crime in their communities.
