|Subject:||Please Give Us Options to Monsanto|
"We are what we eat". We've heard it all of our lives...
And it wasn't until I survived cancer that these words took their full meaning.
Since recovering, I shop at my local farmer's market every Sunday to buy organic vegetables from local growers.
I am convinced that this lifestyle is a major component of being cancer-free for seven years. I am not alone.
Please check out the increased number of farmers markets in the United States. People are yearning for pure,
If Monsanto continues it's path without regulation, our food will be further reduced to a negotiated utility. (yum, yum)
Understandably to feed the masses, our food is a traded commodity, yet we need our government to step up to prevent
this industry leader from gobbling up the independent and local farmers, the small businesses dependent on local farms,
and an individuals option to purchase food that is not genetically modified or irradiated.
Thank you for your time,
