|Subject:||Agriculture and Antitrust Enforcement Issues|
My name is Elyssa Rothe, and I am an environmental activist in my community- New York City.
I am concerned and worried about the consolidation of corporate power in the food and agriculture sector.
My main concern is that It's harder and harder to find healthy, locally produced foods in my community. Especially in the Bronx, there are nothing but Bodegas for miles, and it is important to me that fresh vegetables are available to all people. It's also hard for small food producers and processors to find markets for their products -- and it's hard for consumers to find products made by small producers.
