Subject: Food safety

I am an 81 year old woman who is a  22 year breast cancer survivor. When I had breast cancer,I decided to do what I had to to survive and also what I had to to never have breast cancer, or any other cancer, again. Safe wholesome food came very high on my list of what I needed. I believbe that  it's wrong  to not use all the safe measures available  to prevent contamination and adulteration of food, it's wrong to have agricultural practices that inflate prices while so many are hungry. I buy local foods, where possible to know something about their origin, to conserve energy and to provide the farmer with a fair return.  Sylvia S. Pinyan
