To whom it may concern:

Thank you for listening.
I often shake my head in wonder; Don't decision-makers have children and grandchildren?

The concentration of control over American agriculture into fewer
and fewer corporate hands is bad for farmers, bad for communities, and bad
for the environment. People are waking up to this unavoidable fact.

Our food supply, from seed to grocery store shelf, is essentially controlled
by a handful of companies. As a result, prices are rising, research and
innovation are restricted, fair contracts are difficult to negotiate, and
farmers' and consumers' choices are limited.

Give American farmers and consumers the open, fair marketplace they deserve.
The basic fabric of life can be stretched only so much. Think of your children, and the generations past them.
Thank you for listening.
