Subject: Concerned about GMO's

As an American citizen, I'm extremely concerned about the growing power of companies like Monsanto due to genetically modified organisms for the following reasons:
 - Incomplete and insufficient peer reviewed scientific study of GMO's and other products like RBGH
 - The monopolistic and highly unethical takeover of local food markets in countries like India, Paraguay, and other farming nations via the introduction of GMO's.
 - The very real possibility of health consequences from genetically modified crops and the fact that I as a consumer cannot determine from labels on my food which products contain GMO's.
 - The brutal takeovers via legal and legislative action of small farms throughout the world.
 - And most importantly, the fact that the FDA essentially let this company lose on the world's farmers by deeming GMO's to be not substantially different in nature to conventional crops.  This is borderline criminal activity by a federal agency.
Never mind a free market society, this type of action should not be permitted in a MORAL and ETHICAL society.  This company is singlehandedly ruining generations of tradition of food staple production the world over.

I thank you for allowing me to express my opinion and I hope for some change in the future,
Tom Woodward
