Michael E. Haglund is one of the founding partners of Haglund, Kelley, Horngren, Jones & Wilder LLP, a 13-lawyer firm in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Haglund痴 practice has significant concentration in the natural resources sector of the Pacific Northwest representing businesses in the forest products, fishing and agricultural industries.

In 2003, Mr. Haglund acted as lead counsel for plaintiffs in what remains the largest antitrust verdict in the region痴 history, a $79 million judgment in Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon v. Weyerhaeuser Co. Mr. Haglund also argued successfully in the Ninth Circuit and argued the case on behalf of respondent before the U.S. Supreme Court in late November.

The Haglund Kelley firm ranks regularly in the top five firms in Oregon for cases tried in federal court. Mr. Haglund is a former president of the Multnomah Bar Association serving the greater Portland metropolitan area and a lawyer delegate to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference. He is a 1977 graduate of Boston University Law School and received his B.A. in 1973 from Western Oregon University.
