Subject: competiveness

Please include my voice along with those of the National Association of Realtors.

I came into this business as a young woman in her late thirties, green as grass and totally clueless. I did not opt to list/sell whatever fell into my lap and be content to skate by. I was quick to discover that competition was fierce and only those who made excellence a primary goal survived and excelled. That realization spurred me to be the best I can be. Without the competitive factor this would cease to be a career and become simply a job.The biggest loser would be the consumer who would have to rely on mediocre agents in a world where mediocrity is all too common.

Just as in medicine, education, the arts and sciences...and yes, politics too... the competitive spirit that ever strives to be better today than it was yesterday benefits not only the individual, but the community as a whole.

My request is simply this....Please don't try to fix something that is not broken!
