From May 3 to May 5, ICITAP participated in the three-day Countering Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC) forum hosted by the George C. Marshall Center. The week consisted of discussions addressing drug trafficking; sanctions as a tool in countering transnational organized crime; trends in trying organized crime cases; and transnational organized crime and money laundering. A notable panel discussion, moderated by the ICITAP-Montenegro Law Enforcement Assistance Attaché, focused on drug trafficking trends in the Western Balkans and new developments. The panel included an official from the Albanian National Bureau of Investigation, the Deputy Police Director of the National Police of Montenegro; the Head of Drugs Department from the Ministry of Interior of Croatia; and the Drug Enforcement Administration Country Attaché from Zagreb, Croatia.
