The Director's Office maintains the strategic focus of the organization. Within the Director's Office, the executive planning officer and strategic services staff provide assistance in the areas of strategic planning; external and internal communications; performance statistics and reporting; development of standards; organizational development initiatives; and knowledge management.
Strategic management support
Develops and coordinates projects to realize the director's vision for ICITAP. Ensures consistency of ICITAP's strategies with Department of Justice and Criminal Division goals and priorities, and with the foreign assistance strategic framework.
Performance accountability reporting
Develops and compiles performance statistics and prepares activity-related reports to improve visibility and accountability; projects include collecting and reporting training statistics and other data for the Criminal Division's Quarterly Management Report.
Strategic program support
Assists regional programs in the areas of program performance data, program reviews, and public information materials.
Public information services
Develops and implements ICITAP's external communications strategy, including standards and guidelines for various communications vehicles. Develops and maintains information products such as briefings to Congress and Website content, and provides quality-assurance review of other materials.
Knowledge management development
Collaborates with the Criminal Division's Information Technology Management section to identify and implement solutions for enhancing electronic information sharing and storage.
