On May 11, Dax Louderman, a construction company employee, was sentenced, in a 5K1.1 downward departure, to 15 months in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay $134,860 in restitution. Louderman pleaded guilty in December 2012 to two counts of tax evasion charged in a December 2012 information. This case was a spin-off from the larger HOA investigation. Although Louderman did not testify at the HOA trial, he was willing to do so and provided truthful information to investigators over the course of multiple interviews.
