The First Freedom Project includes a series of regional seminars to educate religious, community and civil rights leaders, attorneys, and government officials about the religious freedom laws enforced by the Department of Justice.

These seminars, entitled Federal Laws Protecting Religious Freedom, feature presentations by senior Civil Rights Division attorneys on the full range of religious liberty rights protected by the Department of Justice.

Seminars have been held in Kansas City, Missouri, Tampa, Florida, Seattle, Washington, Brooklyn, New York, Chicago, Illinois, Los Angeles, California, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Georgia, and Boston Massachusetts.

To suggest a particular city for a regional seminar, write to FirstFreedom@usdoj.gov.

DVD Available: If you are not able to attend one of our seminars in person, a DVD recording of our Washington, D.C. seminar held on January 30, 2008 is available free of charge. If you would like a copy, please send your name and address to firstfreedom@usdoj.gov.
