Dr. Payne has been studying elder abuse in the context of the legal system for over 20 years and will talk about his research and share some facts that may surprise you. Detective Day has extensive practical experience in responding to cases of elder abuse. Detective Day will discuss how to assist other law enforcement officers in better understanding their role, what to look for when on a call, and community resources for suspected elder abuse.
