S. Jay Govindan
Jay Govindan joined the Wildlife and Marine Resources Section in 2001 after beginning his career in private practice at a Baltimore law firm. He served as a trial attorney and senior trial attorney in the Section for a decade prior to becoming an Assistant Section Chief, and later was appointed Deputy Chief. Jay received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1998 and earned his undergraduate degree in 1995 from the University of Virginia, where he majored in Environmental Sciences.
