Bedford Academy High School and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn started an intern Pre-Law Program five years ago while Attorney General Lynch was serving as U.S. Attorney. Since the program’s inception, the school has successfully sent 27 students to participate, many of whom Attorney General Lynch mentored through their internships, and Attorney General Lynch was the guest speaker for the commencement class of 2012 graduates at York College in Queens. A few of the alumni students still continue to work with the office while on summer break from college.
