A - Policy Statement

  1. EOIR staff will take reasonable steps to provide meaningful access to EOIR services for all those with business before the agency, including those individuals with LEP. 
  2. EOIR will take reasonable steps to ensure that communications are accessible to all individuals and that such communications and related agency processes do not impair an individual’s ability to engage meaningfully in their proceedings. 
  3. EOIR staff will take reasonable steps to ensure that persons for whom English is not their best language are provided with resources to connect them with appropriate language assistance services. 
  4. EOIR will inform the public of the availability of EOIR’s language assistance resources.
