This document explains how various federal nondiscrimination laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Section 1557 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, can help to ensure that services provided via telehealth are accessible to people with disabilities and limited English proficient persons.
