The Justice Department announced that it will award $68,196,816 through 88 grants to American Indian and Alaska Native communities to provide services and promote justice for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and trafficking. The awards are administered through the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) and will enhance Tribal justice systems, support an array of services for victims of these crimes, and provide training and technical assistance to service providers and Tribal governments.
