Re: Request for records concerning plaintiff's employment Disposition: Transferring plaintiff's FOIA claims to different venue
  • Litigation Considerations:  The court finds that plaintiff's claims should be "transferred to the District of Maryland." The court explains that it "has dismissed, with the exception of the FOIA and Privacy Act counts, all of [plaintiff's] claims for which this Court was the proper venue" and, therefore, "transfer of what remains of this case to the District of Maryland is appropriate."  The court further explains that while plaintiff's FOIA and Privacy Act claims "are properly venued . . . others (e.g., Count Eight) are not."
