- Exemption 1: The Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit holds that "the district judge properly granted summary judgment to the NSA." The court explains that "[t]he District of Columbia Circuit has reasoned persuasively a government agency may issue a Glomar response under Exemption 1." The court finds that "the NSA complied with the case law and prescribed requirements for showing a Glomar response is warranted."
