Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch traveled to Los Angeles as part of her national Community Policing Tour aimed to highlight law enforcement’s efforts to use social media and technology to increase transparency, curb violent crime, and build stronger bonds with the communities they serve. While in Los Angeles, the Attorney General held a live town hall at Facebook at their new Playa Vista Campus, taking questions from an audience of students and officers about policing strategies and innovative solutions to build mutual respect and coordination between law enforcement and members of the community. The town hall was also streamed on Facebook Live on the Department of Justice’s Facebook page.
