David A. Hubbert was appointed Acting Assistant Attorney General of the Tax Division by President Biden on February 8, 2021 and served in this capacity until November 16, 2021. In conformance with the Vacancies Reform Act, effective November 17, 2021, Mr. Hubbert’s title reverted to Deputy Assistant Attorney General. Mr. Hubbert continues to serve as the Head of the Tax Division.
