Tribal Access Program - 2018 Expression of Interest

Tribal Access Program - 2018 Expression of Interest

The Department of Justice is expanding the Tribal Access Program (TAP) for National Crime Information which provides federally-recognized tribes access to national crime information databases for both civil and criminal purposes. Tribes interested in participating in TAP must submit a letter or resolution from the tribe’s governing body by September 15, 2017. TAP allows tribes to more effectively serve and protect their communities by ensuring the exchange of critical data. To understand eligibility requirements and important dates please click here.

In order to assist and educate interested tribes, TAP will host a TAP Overview webinar on the following dates and times (EST). Please email and let us know which event you are interested in attending.

TAP Overview: Provides an overview of the TAP program and benefits for civil and criminal agencies to enhance tribal public safety.

Who should attend: Anyone interested in TAP, especially senior executive tribal leaders, with decision making authority, who can make the decision if their tribe should submit an expression of interest for 2018.
