705. Witness Services

The USMS will be responsible to (1) assist the witness in obtaining one reasonable job opportunity; (2) provide assistance in finding housing; (3) provide identity documents for witnesses and family members whose names are changed for security purposes; and (4) arrange for witnesses and family members who are severely troubled to receive counseling and advice by psychologists, psychiatrists, or social workers, when the need has been substantiated.

A report of the amount spent by the government to provide Witness Security Program services for each witness may be obtained from the USMS Witness Security Inspector in the sentencing district or by contacting OEO.
